Breakfast with Fed: ‘Our Communities, Our Environment’

Please join us for Breakfast with Fed to learn about how community knowledge informs Federation University’s research into the environment and impacts of our changing climate.

Breakfast with Fed gives our communities an opportunity to learn about the significant work our researchers are doing, locally, nationally and internationally. More details, including a full program and list of speakers and topics, will be provided in the coming weeks.

EVENT BACKGROUND

With Australia currently experiencing the highest rates of extinction of any continent*, and Victoria’s climate predicted to have drier and longer fire seasons by the 2050s, local research continues to be an important part of the response to global environmental concerns.

To meet the challenges of the future, it’s vital for Federation University to not just share our research with the communities we serve, but to draw on the significant knowledge already held within those communities.
